ISPS
In accordance with its endeavor of complying with the highest standards
of quality and security in its activities, in 2004 it pursued and
received the "Statement of Compliance of Port Facility"
under the requirements of the International Ship and Port Facility
Security (ISPS) Code, which warrants that Fertisa's facilities have
a certified security plan.
BASC
Likewise, in 2005 it pursued and obtained the BASC certification
(Business Alliance for Secure Commerce), which warrants the active
handling of cargo for imports and exports. This represents a sound
preventive response against smuggling and terrorism. This certification
and the compliance with its standards and procedures qualify us
as a secure port.
